SPECIFICATIONS

The Sealmaster SBG-4 is a two-piece, unsealed spherical plain bearing. It's well-suited to use in applications with angular and pivoting misalignment, such as those found in connections at the end of mechanical shock arrestors and hydraulic cylinders. The one-piece bearing race is composed of aluminum and bronze for reduced friction and the steel alloy ball is chrome-plated and heat-treated for extreme wear resistance.

The outer and inner surfaces of the race are precisely ground for increased contact between surfaces. Special lubrication holes and grooves direct more grease into the bearing, and the outside surface edges are chamfered for easier installation into housings. With an inner diameter of .25 inches and an outer diameter of .656 inches, the SBG-4 is ideal for use in rolling mills, elevators, dental equipment, and aggregate crushers.
