SP-27 - SEALMASTER
The Sealmaster SP-27 is a pillow-block-type of bearing with two mounting holes to secure the bearing assembly on a flat surface. The outer pillow block is made from cast-iron material while the inner bore rod and the bearings are made from chromium steel for added strength and durability. The Sealmaster SP-27 has a bore diameter of 1.688 inches and a base-to-bore centerline length of 2.3750 inches.
The normal-duty bearing is factory lubricated and allows relubrication through a fitted grease fitting. The entire bearing assembly has a felt-seal containment, which maintains the integrity of the grease lubrication by preventing grease extrusion and intrusion of dirt.
The Sealmaster SP-27 has an overall length of 8.75 inches and an overall height of 4.625 inches. It is, therefore, compact enough for a variety of your garage-based contraptions as well as light machinery applications, such as fitting in small motors. You should also take note of the Sealmaster SP-27 bearing's limiting operating temperature of 250 degrees Fahrenheit.
