SPECIFICATIONS
The Timken S5KDD is a radial, deep groove ball bearing assembly with a round bore that's half an inch in diameter. The entire bearing assembly is made from chromium steel for added durability and ability to withstand high radial, thrust, and combined loads. Its relatively compact and small bearing assembly is designed for use in small motors, machines, and even light industrial uses where noise reduction is necessary.
Timken's S5KDD bearing is designed with a C0 internal clearance for the minimal possible radial play and low/standard safe working temperature allowances. The outer and inner steel cages are designed to protect the bearings by providing a concave-shaped bearing race. Its cage also evenly spaces and realigns the bearings for reduced ball-to-ball friction, lesser vibration, and reduced operational noises. Protective shields on either side of the bearing protect the working parts from debris penetration. With the Timken S5KDD bearing, you can hold dynamic loads of 1,270 pounds and static loads of 500 pounds.
